ROR Trainer
Learn COLREGS. Practise with purpose.
ROR Trainer is a free web study aid for the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea. It takes the rule text, the lights and shapes a watchkeeper has to recognise, and the sound signals they have to interpret, and turns them into material you can work through and test yourself on.
The training follows one sequence throughout: observe, assess, decide, navigate. You build understanding through written encounters, schematic navigation lights, sound patterns, and explanations linked back to the relevant rule.
- 100+ COLREGS questions
- 41 rules covered
- 6 training categories
- Free · no account needed
